Supporting over 1500 children and their families at Can Man Dan Foundation's "We're Here for Ya Day"

On August 23rd 2026, Kids First was so proud to take part in Can Man Dan Foundation's 14th Annual "We're Here for Ya Day," an event supporting underprivileged families as they prepare for the new school year.

Prior to the event, we donated school supplies and helped with the packing of supplies. At the event, alongside a amazing team of community partners, we helped distribute backpacks, food hampers, and provided face painting and glitter tattoos to families across Edmonton. Clothing, free vision tests, oral hygiene products and more were also provided. It was an incredible day! Let's keep putting Kids First.

Events like this are only possible because of the volunteers, partner organizations, and community members who show up and give their time. We're grateful to everyone who made the day such a success, and we're already looking forward to next year.
